Happy Birthday Madison!!!

I can't believe it, but somehow 5 years have gone by since Maddie was born... where does the time go? We started the day off with Chocolate chip smiley face pancakes and then the race was on to spend the Birthday money that has been burning a hole in her pocket. She decided to save it for the dollar store so she could get "tons" of stuff! Maddie wanted pet fish for her birthday so a few weeks ago Traci and I gave her little goldfish and the kids have loved taking care of them. Madison fed them a few minutes ago and then I found Ryan with the fish food dumping handfuls into their tank. It looks like a little fishy buffet in there.

Hello Kitty!

We went to the park yesterday for a picnic and there was a little cat there that chased the kids all over the park, up the stairs and down the slides.... pretty strange for a cat. All was well until the Cat decided to attack us- poor Ryan is now terrified of little zoo animals, dogs and kitty cats.

HUNTING SEASON is here... boo hoo.

So as excited as Brandon is that is hunting time, I am sad that I won't see him for the next 2 months since every free evening and weekend are devoted to hunting anything that walks... seriously, what is the point of hunting doves??? Anyways, today he is off hunting Moose with his Aunt and Uncle and the kids and I are having a fun lazy day at home... oh wait, that's what we do every day! On top of that there is a BYU game on right now here in Provo, which means for the next few hours I won't be able to go to the store to get the onions I need for my empanadas. I love living in Provo, except for game days... (driving wise) . However, it is a lot of fun to see all the people in Blue driving by and here the cheers from the stadium.

So since I blogged last, we went to Lagoon(Maddie, Spencer and Hunter took most of the pictures on Maddie's little camera. They are cute!) This video is of Ryan on the bumper cars. (then Maddie drives by, but I forgot to turn the camera off so the last half of the video is all black.)

Trip to the zoo with Spencer, Hunter and Bubba

We went to the Zoo. This was Maddie's first trip since she was 8 months old and Ryan's first time ever. Ryan loved the animals but the little Meir cats made him nervous... It was such a fun trip. Grandma and Andrea came too! We should do this again!!

I had such a fun time... I think everyone did. We went boating, hiking, biking and had lots of food... what more could you want.

Brandon's Birthday

We have had a fun couple of weeks- First we went to the first annual Judi Family Reunion, went to the dinosaur museum at Thanksgiving point, went to the zoo, then we had a surprise party for Brandon's 30th Birthday and finally celebrated 0ur 7 year wedding anniversary! Here are some pictures :

I've been putting off writing the first post for a few weeks now. It's strange to think that someone will be reading our little blog... but then again, maybe no one will and I have nothing to worry about! :)
When I was getting Maddie ready for pre school yesterday I was trying to get her to hurry. I was yelling and hollering that we had to get moving or we were going to be late and she turned to me and said, "Mom stop acting like a baby." Well she was right. It's funny how kids can put us in our place.
